Police Investigating Dangerous Copper Theft from Hydro One
Police are looking for two suspects involved in a copper theft from a Hydro One substation in Windsor, Ontario
Two men broke into the secure electrical power compound on Walker Rd. on Sunday, July 2, around 11:30pm.
The suspects are described as male, white, 45-50 years old, with slender builds. One was riding a green bike and the other was riding a red bike.
Two other break-ins occurred at the same location on July 12 and July 13.
Windsor police would like to remind the public that it is extremely dangerous to enter an electrical power compound without authorisation. People have lost their lives in the past from attempting similar acts.
